KASK Ghent

Ashtari Carpets has had the pleasure of guiding the third-year bachelor students of KASK (Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten) Ghent’s “Textile Design” program as they explore the possibilities within traditional techniques such as knotting, weaving, and natural dyeing.

I was delighted to welcome these talented students. Witnessing their creative process evolve is truly inspiring, and discovering how we can translate their designs into real rugs is a fascinating journey. Together, we push the boundaries of textile craftsmanship, bridging tradition and innovation.
