Léon Stynen (1899–1990) was a visionary Belgian architect known for his modernist approach. He studied at the National Higher Institute in Antwerp and was influenced by leading architects like Le Corbusier and Walter Gropius. Rejecting ornate styles, he embraced pure form, shaping iconic landmarks like DeSingel and Casino-Kursaal in Ostend.
