Layers of azure blue, coral green and aubergine purple unfold across a deep indigo field, creating a harmonious yet vibrant colour composition. The subtle contrasts between matte Gazne wool and luminous natural silk generate depth, light reflection and constant visual change throughout the day.

Inspired by Kasimir Malevich’s concept of “dynamic movement” — movement that cannot be seen but deeply felt — this rug transforms space through atmosphere rather than pattern. It radiates positivity, energy and emotional warmth while maintaining refined elegance.

About Tim Van Steenbergen

Tim Van Steenbergen graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts and worked with Olivier Theyskens before launching his Paris debut collection in 2001. Known for refined purity, sculptural drapery and exceptional craftsmanship, his work spans international fashion, theatre, opera and interior design collaborations.

His multidisciplinary approach translates seamlessly into this rug design — where couture sensibility meets artisanal weaving tradition.
