The Heritage 2 Ply Kilim Collection represents a more robust interpretation of our traditional handwoven kilims. Woven using two strands of handspun wool instead of one, these kilims offer greater body, enhanced durability, and a more substantial feel underfoot while preserving the timeless character of authentic flatweaving.
The thicker yarn construction creates a slightly coarser texture and a more pronounced woven structure. While marginally less refined than our finer 1 Ply Heritage Kilims, the 2 Ply version excels in practical performance, making it particularly suitable for high-traffic residential interiors, hospitality projects, retail environments, and other spaces where resilience is essential.
Its increased density and durability make it a better choice beneath dining tables, where chairs are moved frequently, as well as for stair runners and circulation areas subject to daily wear and tear. The stronger construction helps the kilim maintain its character and appearance even under demanding use.
Crafted from 100% locally sourced, handspun sheep wool, these kilims celebrate the beauty of natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. Like interiors finished in mortex or tadelakt rather than synthetic alternatives, they embody authenticity, tactility, and honest material expression. Their understated aesthetic aligns perfectly with the architectural language of contemporary Belgian design, where natural textures and timeless materials take centre stage.
Each piece is handwoven on traditional looms, revealing subtle tonal variations, natural abrash, and the gentle irregularities that distinguish true artisan craftsmanship from machine-made production. The result is a kilim with warmth, character, and enduring appeal.

White-Glove Delivery
For customers within a 150 km radius of our shop, we offer white-glove delivery services. This includes careful handling, placement of your rug or accessory in your desired space, and removal of all packaging materials.
