Discover Salons in the coming weeks
We warmly invite you to discover Salons, an immersive exhibition where contemporary art, innovative carpets and vintage design furniture come together in carefully staged, liveable interiors. Rather than a distant exhibition, Salons explores how art and design coexist in real living spaces — inviting you to view, live with and collect exceptional pieces.
The exhibition runs until 22 February and can be visited at two locations in Antwerp: Ashtari Carpets and Coppejans Gallery.

A dialogue between art, carpets and design
In Salons, contemporary artworks engage in dialogue with handcrafted and innovative carpets from Ashtari Carpets, complemented by iconic vintage design furniture. Each space is curated as an interior rather than a gallery room, allowing visitors to experience how art and design interact in a natural, lived-in context.
This approach reflects the philosophy of Ashtari Carpets: timeless craftsmanship, cultural depth and contemporary relevance — presented in an environment where aesthetics and functionality meet.

Special opening during Artland Antwerp
On Sunday 25 January 2026, Artland Antwerp hosts its annual New Year’s reception. To mark this occasion, both exhibition locations will be exceptionally open from 11:00 to 18:00.
This day offers an ideal opportunity to experience Salons in a calm and inspiring atmosphere, or to discover the project within a broader context of meeting, exchange and contemporary art. Visitors can also explore five other galleries in the neighbourhood, making it a perfect cultural Sunday in Antwerp.
